The BEST Referral

Recently I had a real estate agent call me, I had not spoken to this person for over 12 months.

After some talk about the weather and being busy with work I was wondering what the call was for. This agent hadn't referred me to any of their clients buying a house for a long long time so I was curious.

I joked that I only hear from some agent when they want to refer me to a friend or relative, an awkward laugh followed and then the reason for call became clear. His sister was buying a house and wanted her future house inspected.

I could be upset by this but I take this as a huge compliment. They dont want me inpecting houses they are selling because I find the hidden issues, but he wanted a full and proper inspection so his sister was fully informed.

My business is based entirely on referrals, I don't advertise - except for this website and a Facebook page. Both of these sit alone with no advertising or that type of thing, if you have found this website or the Facebook page its the "great algorithm" and not me putting it in front of you. Or maybe you are just checking my pages out after being referred to me via a friend, relative or maybe even a real estate agent. (Some agents do actually recommend me because they also want their buyers to know what they are buying)

How Much do you pay for referrals?

I don't pay for referrals. For the simple reason that if you are referring me to a friend, relative, colleague, client I want you to do so with the proper intention, not because you get something out
